For years, cricket has been the most loved game of Indians. It is a ritual for us to sit and watch every game with devotion. The country gets plunged in gloom when India loses. The food vendors have a roaring business the day we win a game. Every mother aspires to her son training and following in the footsteps of Tendulkar. One might say cricket is a religion! With this in mind and a target for holistic growth of India’s youth, the idea of a cricket field was conceived by Dr. D Y Patil.
Inaugurated by the former BCCI chairman and esteemed cricketer Chandrakant Gulabrao Borde, the cricket ground is equipped with top notch facilities to enable the budding future cricketers of India to play successfully. After all, healthy youth and budding cricketers are the proud future of our country.
Mr. Vijay D. Patil, Son of hon, Dr. D. Y. Patil. who has supported a lot. he has taken great efforts and initiative to start this academy in pune. And Mr B.D.Kotkar and Mr A.B. Kotkar has started this academy in year 2001.
